TAP®


TAP® is FDA approved for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is the temporary cessation of breathing during sleep. Typically indicated by snoring, often times sufferers will awake gasping for breath. Apnea related disturbances occur repeatedly, resulting in a restless sleep and daytime drowsiness. This disease can cause serious health issues including increased blood pressure and the restriction of oxygen to the brain and blood stream.

Indications

  • Anti-snoring device
  • FDA Approved for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
  • Patient is 18 or older

Contraindications

  • Patients with loose teeth or dentures
  • Patients with Central Sleep Apnea or severe respiratory disorders
  • Patients under 18

What to Send

  • Full upper and lower VPS impressions (we recommend Position™ Penta™ from 3M)
  • Centric bite registration 
  • Maximum protrusive measurement
