Crown & Bridge Continuing EducationFree CE Opportunity - Let's Stick TogetherYou will learn:
Course Description:So many materials, so little time. With a myriad of newer restorative materials and seemingly endless choices with colored restorative materials and cementation. . . could this stuff be any more confusing? Monolithic Zirconia and Lithium Disilicate have given us an unsurpassed blend of durability and esthetics we have never seen before with indirect restorative materials. Have you seen porcelain chip or delaminate from your crowns? Spend a lot of time adjusting contacts and occlusion? Ever had a patient say "That tooth wasn't a problem until you fixed it"? Let's stop the madness. The goal of this course is to make a strong case for more durable esthetic restorations and to simplify materials and techniques for greater office efficiency and performance. Indications for newer indirect materials such as Lithium Disilicate and Zirconia will be discussed with emphasis on preparation and placement methods. We will discuss adjusting, polishing, burs, and placement with a regenerative material. We will learn about a bioactive cement that stimulates dentin repair while being the most sensitivity free, easy-to-clean-up cement we've ever used. We will try to eliminate problems you have with your current materials and "tweak" the systems you currently use for indirect restorations. We will learn how to do it right the first time and to make the practice more enjoyable and efficient.
